Mark Hatton

Head Sensei

Saratoga Judo is headed by Sensei Mark Hatton, who received his 2nd-degree black belt from the Kodokan.

Sensei Hatton has a lifetime of coaching experience and deep knowledge of Judo as a sport and philosophy. Using this knowledge he has created a learning atmosphere that teaches Judo as a recreational sport and way of life.

Harrison Hatton

Judo Instructor

Harrison trained and earned his black belt under Olympic silver medalist Jason Morris. He is also a Jiu-Jitsu brown belt under the  Alliance Jiu-Jitsu system.

Harrison has a gift for teaching and uses his deep knowledge of both Judo and Jiu-Jitsu to craft challenging and fun classes for all skill levels and ages.

Kevin McNavich

Judo Instructor

Kevin is a 2nd-degree black belt with a lifetime passion for Judo. He started as a child at Waseda Judo on Long Island and earned his black belt at Tohoku Judo in Cambridge, MA, where he was also an instructor before joining Saratoga Judo.

Leo Larocque

Judo Instructor

Leo has been a long-time student of Sensei Hatton and recently was promoted to Shodan. He is now giving back to the club and runs classes once a week.

Marco Amanti

Judo Instructor

Marco has been part of our team while he was studying at Skidmore over the past few years. He has since graduated but drops in when he is in town.
